🐾 Mardi Paws Give Back Weekend Recap: Community, Compassion & Full Bowls

This past weekend at Natural Pet Food Solutions, our store was filled with something even more meaningful than great products and wagging tails—it was filled with community.

We were proud to host one of Fromm Family Foods’ Give Back Events, and even more proud to partner with Animal Aid PDX as our local rescue recipient.

💛 What We Accomplished Together

Because of YOU—our incredible customers and neighbors—we were able to:

  • Donate 30% of all Fromm sales, which totaled $228 worth of pet food, directly to Animal Aid

  • Collect and donate over 240 cans of pet food

This wasn’t just a promotion—it was a shared effort to make a real, local impact.

At Natural Pet Food Solutions, being a neighborhood pet shop means more than just selling food and treats. It means showing up for our community—both people and pets.

And of course, our partnership with Animal Aid is one we deeply value. Their work goes far beyond sheltering animals—they provide medical care, rehabilitation, foster support, and the everyday essentials that help pets transition into safe, loving homes. Every can donated and every dollar raised helps fuel that mission.

What stood out most this weekend was the spirit of neighborliness.

Familiar faces came in to support. New customers discovered us for the first time. Conversations were had, stories were shared, and a simple act—buying a bag of food or donating a can—turned into something much bigger.
